The level 7 Diploma in Education in Business and Management is designed to enhance your ability to understand the concept of policy, practice and management theory in education. This qualification will enable you to face and deal with the challenges faced by policy maker and professionals.
This qualification combines both practical and theoretical knowledge that allows you to become a proficient manager in the education sector. While enhancing and developing your management skills, Level 7 DEML develops your skills in team leadership, effective performance and leading change. After achieving this qualification, you will be able to work in numerous administrative or management positions.
Due to the course design flexibility, you can complete the course at your own desired pace. Based on your previous experience and commitment to the course, you can either complete the course in 2 or 12 months.

After completing the Level 7 Diploma in Education Management and Leadership, you will be able to enter into Master’s programmes offered by various universities.
In order to enrol in Level 7 DEML, you must meet one of two of the following minimum eligibility criteria:
• Hold an honour degree in the related subject or equivalent overseas qualification,
• For mature learners, 5 years of relevant management experience
• Regardless of the case, you should be at least 21 years old and own a satisfactory level of Literacy and Numeracy skills.
As the course is theory-based, it will be assessed via essay-style written accounts.

The L7 DEML is for those working or who wish to undertake a job as a teacher or a trainer in state schools in the UK. It is also an excellent choice for those who want to develop themselves as leaders in an educational setting and prepare themselves for such roles as head of departments, academic dean, headteacher, etc.
There is no specific time frame to complete the course. Most learners complete it in as less as 2 months (fast track) or up to 1 year (full time).
You must possess an honours degree in a related subject, or UK level 6 Diploma, or an equivalent overseas qualification. However, no formal qualification is required for mature learners who have 5 years relevant management experience.
