Once you have picked the course and paid the course fee, a member of our admission team will assess your application form and documents to verify your eligibility. You might get a call for a short interview. Once all this is done, you will be given access to the course via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) (Moodle). The entire process takes a maximum of three days.

Note: Please see terms and conditions for fee refund policy.

Total Qualification Time (TQT) is a term used within qualifications regulated by Ofqual as part of the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF). It aims to provide learners with an indication of the minimum length of time it would take the average learner to complete their qualification.

Guided Learning Hours (GLHs) Guided Learning Hours is the time a learner is being taught, instructed or participating in education or training under guidance or supervision of a tutor, lecturer etc. (this can also include assessment time).

Please note that the actual time taken by the learner will vary and will depend on the individual effort and hard-work of the learner.

All students are provided with an induction to better understand the assessment process. You will also be given access to blogs written on how to do your best when preparing for your coursework. If you still need help, you may contact your course tutor and schedule a 30-minute online meeting on ‘assignment preparation’.

It is a self-paced course. Learners progress at their own speed.

Each course has defined credits that should be earned for successful course completion. For course credits, please refer to the course outline of the desired course.

All our qualifications are regulated by Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). This means that our courses are fully recognised in UK and worldwide.

Each course is split into modules. In some jurisdictions, modules might be referred to as units. Our courses are delivered in a way that a learner can access one module at a time. Once you have completed a module, you will be given access to the next module and so on. Please refer to the relevant course page to find out how many modules are there in your course.

Course material is  provided through our VLE. It is up to the learners to decide whether they want to buy additional study material.

Absolutely, however, BTC recommends that you undertake one course at a time. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your tutor or BTC support team.

If you don’t pass a module, BTC will continue to provide the required support until you have passed the module. If you are required to resubmit the coursework, you will be adequately guided on what improvements are required.

The course material can be accessed through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Moodle. If your module has printed materials, you will be able to download these electronically.

COVID-19 is a very serious issue and we are treating it as such. Our staff is working from home to ensure that they can stay safe while still providing learners with the support they need. We are working round the clock to ensure that there are no interruptions in learners’ progress.

AT BTC, learners don’t have to complete any online group projects. All assessments are meant to be completed by the individual learners on their own.

Learner Support

Online learning allows you to complete the course in your own time and at your own pace. Online learning gives you an opportunity to manage study/work balance. The cost of our online courses is much less as compared to the same courses studied on campus. The ultimate certification you get will still be exactly the same regardless of how the learning took place.

The learner will need to have access to a PC or Laptop with a decent internet connection. These requirements are very easy to meet, but please do get in touch if you have any concerns.

Yes, employers now realize that a large proportion of students will choose to do online qualifications instead of face to face. In fact, many employers will give preference to this option as it shows that the candidates are self-motivated and can work off of their own initiative.

  1. Welcome with introduction video

Many educators seem to underestimate the importance of the introduction. An introduction video with the nice presence of tutors could result in unexpectedly good impressions. The introduction not only explains the prospects and objectives of the course but also enhances the connection between tutors and learners. It makes them more relatable and creates a friendly and positive atmosphere.

  1. Encourage students to ask question

At BTC, questions are considered crucial to online learning. There are various reasons why students ask questions:

  • Their interest in the topic
  • Motivation to learn deeper
  • Difficulties in understanding a particular detail

All these motives bring beneficial information for educators for upgrading the course. Tutors could encourage students by providing answers and additional resources relating to the course, or even giving students credits for their attitude. However, there is no need to answer the questions immediately. Leaving the problems for students to discuss and find out by themselves seems to be a wiser act. It could make them feel more accomplished and grow the online community of learners.

  1. Give feedback

At BTC, assignment feedback is considered more important than the final grade. The final grade only presents how well a student performs. The feedback, on the other hand, will tell them what they did wrong and how they could improve it. This information will give learners a guideline to think more critically and study deeper on the subject. Online tutors could also make comments or give individual credits for motivation.

  1. Easily Accessible Resources Repository

24/7 access to learning materials is one of the building blocks of e-learning. At BTC Learners will be able to download and reuse learning materials all through the course.

Each course presents its own specific benefits. When choosing a course, you might want to consider:

  1. The price of each course
  2. The prestige of the awarding body
  3. The units/modules
  4. The specific university progression routes

If you are in doubt, please feel free to contact us at support@britanniatrainingcentre.co.uk.

Learners are expected to be self-motivated, disciplined, be able to work independently and do online research. If they get stuck, our tutors are there to guide them through 1-2-1 sessions.

BTC recognizes that any of our potential students have many options when it comes to choosing their online learning platform. However, at BTC, we feel that all our courses are competitively priced while also providing excellent student support services.

All our BTC courses are self-paced. In case you fall ill, you won’t fall behind on your coursework, you can log back in and start where you left off.

All instalments must be paid before course completion. BTC will not issue the course certificate until you have paid all the instalments.

It takes 1-2 weeks (excluding public holidays) to issue a certificate. If you do not receive your certificate within 2 weeks, contact learner support at support@britanniatrainingcentre.co.uk.
