As it is a knowledge-based award, it is an ideal choice for those who need to understand the principles and practices of internal quality assurance. Furthermore, to enrol in the course, you don’t need any work experience or education. The course is accredited by the UK Ofqual and is delivered completely online via VLE.
As it is a knowledge-based qualification, it provides information about the methods and concepts of internal quality assurance without practising. This being said, you will not be able to work as an internal verifier or quality assurer.
On the other hand, if you are looking to perform internal quality Assurance functions you can either choose Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices or Focus Awards Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF).
