The Level 3 Award in English for Literacy and Language Teaching (RQF) is devised for the development of your skill sets that will play a key role in teaching of literacy, language and functional skills. This course will assist you to read and respond to written texts, listen and respond to verbal and non-verbal information and prepare and produce written texts. The qualification is suitable for people wishing to start a career in language support or skills for life and need to undertake some skills development to meet the entry requirement for joining subject specific teaching qualification in literacy and ESOL.
