Overview
The Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People is a UK OFQUAL accredited 100% online, knowledge-based qualification that aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and the protection of children, young people and practitioners in the work place. You are not required to have any prior qualification or experience to start this course, just an appetite for learning.
Intended Audience
Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People qualification is ideal for all those learners who currently work or wish to work with children and young people. Potential learners can be from any occupational sector.
Duration and Delivery
The Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you best. This Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People qualification can take as little as 5 days up to 2 weeks for you to get awareness of how to work with children and young people. This qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment. Our online tutor support is there to facilitate you to achieve your success rate accordingly.
Assessment and Verification
The unit within this course are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor. You will receive tutor support once you are enrolled on our online portal to assist you in reaching your goals.
